Abrazos Press is a teaching and professional printmaking studio in Somerville, MA. Founded by Sandra Butler, Annie Silverman and Nina Wishnok in 2008. The studio has classes in woodcut printmaking, artist books and polyesterplate lithography. Classes are for all experience levels. The studio may also be rented for  special projects and private tutorials.

Classes are during the week and evenings , summer week long intensives and the occasional weekend workshop.  The 30″ x 60″ TAKACH Press is a beauty and can print a full  sheet of Japanese paper (25″ x 37″).  We print with oil based inks and clean with SOYSOLV, a soybased solvent, and Mrs. Meyers counter spray.  We try to be a clean and healthy environment for printmaking.
